Therapeutic lasers use light waves of a specific wavelength to penetrate deeply into tissues & produce positive tissue changes!

How does Cold Laser Therapy work? (aka the Science)

Reduces pain perception by:

  • increasing release of tissue endorphins

  • suppressing pain receptors

  • reducing neuron impulses

Reduces tissue inflammation by:

  • decreasing inflammatory chemicals called prostaglandins

  • dilates lymphatic vessels and reduces edema

Accelerates healing by:

  • dilating blood vessels and increasing blood flow

  • increasing angiogenesis (development of new blood vessels)

  • increasing collagen production
